Run, Dirty Girl, Run

Kiss Me Dirty Race Series put on a race called the Dirty Girl Run. My sister and some of her friends signed up to do it and then told me about it, so my sister-in-law Nickey and I signed up for the relay part so all 6 of us could run it together. The night before all the girls (except me, i was driving up from SG) tie-dyed shirts and socks so that we looked awesome. If I do say so myself, we did look awesome. The race was a total of 4 miles or, so the relay teams each did a 2 mile loop. We decided we didn't want to wait and just went all together and ran the 2 miles as the tie-dye team. It was so much fun, but I do wish it would have been a muddier. I loved all the obstacles, it made the couple of miles go by really fast, much faster than a 1/2 marathon. So when we all came to the end of the 2 miles, 3 of us decided to do the loop again and just do the whole 4 miles. It was worth every scrap on my body! I had a blast doing it! And I even got to donate my old running shoes to a good cause!
