These are just a few pictures..A 7 day cruise that stopped in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. So much fun! Unfortunately the weather while we were cruisin' to and from the places wasn't very ideal for a cruise. It was too cold to relax and enjoy the sun. Everyone was always bundled up in a sweatshirt which wasn't my idea of a cruise, but I'll just have to try again! People are right cruise ships consist of Food, Food, and more Food! Day 1 and 2 consisted of "fun days" at sea. So we basically explored the ship, played some mini golf, ate some food, went to shows.
Day 3: Cabo San Lucas
First day in Cabo we went sailing and snorkeling. Neither of which were my fav. The water was cold and choppy which i feel like isn't very ideal for snorkeling, but that was my first time. And I apparently get sea sick on little sail boats. The whole experience was still so fun!
After the excursion most of the group decided to go back to the ship. While some of us went to a flea market and walked around and then decided we were starving! Went to the most delicious restaurant called Cabo Wabo (real clever)
Day 4: Cabo San Lucas
Zac and I got off the cruise ship as early as we could and went and rented a scooter! We scoot scooted around Cabo for almost 4 hours. Which there isn't that much to see there but it was still fun. The guy who rented the scooter to us told us we had to wear helmets or we'd get a fine. So we look like complete dorks.
Here we are heading to who knows where, but ended up being we found the Glass Blowing Factory!
And I blew glass! They really did make something for us, but I wasn't quick enough to take a picture. I am proud of that glass bubble though.
While riding around on our scooters we ran into Derek and Aubrey.
After this picture was taken we both went our separate ways and Zac and I went more towards homes and ended up getting pulled over! So we decided that it wasn't worth wearing the helmets because you don't have to wear them in the states.. turns out the renter wasn't joking about getting a ticket. Thankfully Zac worked his magic and the cop just drove off and we didn't have to pay him anything. We met up with some of the group for lunch at Senor Frogs and some clown made us all a hat!
Biggest menu I've ever seen.
We still had some time before we had to get back on the ship so we decided to go to the beach! It wasn't for very long but it was still fun, but on our way back we saw this huge fish. 150lb Marlon!
Day 4: Puerto Vallarta.
This was a busy, busy day! A canopy excursion (zip-line), flea markets, the boardwalk, dinner, racing back to the ship to make it time before it leaves.
The crew before our adventure through the jungle. This place doesn't allow personal cameras on the excursion because they wanted us to buy the ones they took. Well that didn't fly with me so I snuck my camera on it and so did Zac..well it didn't go quite as planned and the pictures hardly turned out.
| Our driver Mani was so helpful. He drove us to the canopy excursion, back into town, picked us up again and took us to the ship. |
This Restaurant made the best salsa I've ever had, and I am not exaggerating. They come out and make it right in front of your very eyes! Yum! Thanks to our helpful cab driver for recommending it.
And i was so happy to finally have soda in the glass bottle. I would have been disappointed if I wouldn't have had that the whole trip. Zac's camera died after this picture was taken and mine didn't work if the flash was on. So the rest of the night is in my memory. But after dinner we ran down to the beach because we hadn't made it there all day. On the way to the beach Zac stopped and talked to this mom and daughter because we wanted a mango and they had a whole bag full. Well they could hardly speak English and after showing us where they got the mango they just gave us one! So of course we snuck it on the ship to eat later. :) By the time all of this had happened we realized we had like no time to get back to the ship so we hop in the first taxi we get and go. We get to the ship and the guy asks $8 for the ride, which we knew but turns out we only had $5 and some $20's and he had NO change and spoke NO english. So we left a very angry cab driver, but I had some quarters, dimes, and nickles and he got $7.90 :) And we boarded the ship right at 8:30.
Day 5, 6 & 7: Fun days at sea.
The Piano Bar was my favorite hang out place.
On the ship we ran into this good lookin' couple. Zac's good friend Cade and his wife Caitlin.
Formal Night.
Jenny, Zac, Kaden, Bron, Tyson, Derek, Logan, Jeff, Annie, Bri, Sharla, Aubrey, Christina, and Me!
Our awesome waitor Johnathon.
It was bitter sweet when I had to get off the cruise ship. I was going to miss the luxury of the ship and not having to worry about anything, but then getting back to life is good. Oh and one night some of us stayed up long enough to see the sunrise!
looks like you had a great time! (don't give up on snorkeling--you'll have to give it another try)
