Catch up..

Since school has been out I thought I would have kept up on my blog better, but that is the exact opposite. So I am trying to play a little bit of catch up. In the last month volunteered at the Iron Man Race with some friends and it is always so inspiring for me to watch the athletes accomplish the race, but it also made me so freaked out to run a whole marathon!! And then i ran the Ogden 1/2 marathon with my sisters, and cousin (well she just started out with us and passed us all up). It was so fun to run a race with family, I can't wait to do another one with them. Then I went to California with some friends (Aubrey, Russel, Peter, and Logan). P, R, and L drove down from Provo and then we switched into my car and drove to Santa Rancho Margarita. 5 people cramped in my little car, so worth it for cheap gas! And Thank you to the Penrod family for being so generous and putting us up! They made the trip so nice, breakfast, dinners, and a game night. They were so fun! We went to the LA temple and tried to have a picnic in the big grassy area in the front, and they didn't like it so the security guard came and asked us to leave. Then we went to the mall and shopped a little, and then hooked up with Peter's sister and went to a wedding with her. It was so fun! Then had a couple days at the beach. Sunday the beach was cold and WINDY, and then we had a BBQ and game night with the Penrod family. Monday we packed up and headed to the beach. and it was warm!! but the water was colder than on sunday, but i still went in. I had to boogie board no matter what the water was like. So needless to say the month of May has been so fun!! The only pictures I have on my computer though are from the Ironman Race.









OH yeah...and I did a new canyon! WOOT! It was called Spry Canyon and it was so much fun! One of my favorites!!!!
